THREE WORDS

This year there 4 actors of third: Luismi and Cora, who act as the third consecutive year, and Carla and Manu, who repeat this year after its debut last season in Blood Wedding.

Interviewer: Hi Cora. After three years you are still in the Theatre of the Faculty of Medicine, what gives you? Cora
Book: Theatre gives me a breather in the race, carrying me to friends, secrets, laughter, headaches, ranting, excitement, peace .... theater gives me another way of looking at life, perhaps not unlike my own, but another look at the world after all.
Interviewer: Your character this year is Balbina. What do you like it? And the least? Cora
Book: What I like most is his savvy Balbina, setbacks in the talks, I think Balbina brings to the work that kind of matchmaker, busybody neighbor, but that is a hand there when you need it. The convinces me that unless it is the horns sticking.
Interviewer: Luis Miguel, for you, what is the Theatre of the Faculty?
Luis Miguel García: The fact that the theater has become for me an activity to distract us from all the "burden" posed by the university and studies. It gives me peace and good times. It is a good way to unwind.
Interviewer: Manu, how do you live theater? What your character?
Manu Álvarez: is a wonderful escape. The group and teamwork improve relations between people. I think the partnership as a whole is very rewarding. Furthermore, live the personalities of the people they represent and that is also learned. The truth is that my character is very "normal", no-nonsense and goes straight ahead, and I love it. What I dislike is the dramatic form he uses to explain his personal situation, it's too negative.
Interviewer: Carla, tell us about the shirt and Lolo, you character. Carla
Ancion: The shirt is a social drama. Is a complex work, background reflects the desperation and anguish of the English from the sixties to get ahead and improve their quality of life from different view of the different individuals of the same neighborhood. Therefore, despite being represented hard, it's also incredibly entertaining, because there is no character who has wasted. What I like most is that Lolo is a scoundrel, personifies the brash and the need for joy in times of crisis also gives the work much momentum, and takes a little touch of bitterness, bring other characters. There is nothing that I dislike in particular, what worries me is his physical appearance: I have to transform into a real man!

INTERVIEW WITH DEAN

Dr. José Vicente Saz has been Dean of the Faculty of Medicine from 2004 until a few weeks, when he took up his new post of Vice Chancellor for Academic Planning and Faculty. You answered a few questions.

Interviewer: Hello Dr. Saz. First, to congratulate him on his new position. You have been Dean for 6 years. From this experience, what do you think contributes to the Theatre Faculty of Medicine?
Dr. Saz: Many thanks. The training of a physician not begin and end in the classroom, or in hospital wards. A doctor must be a professional with a strong scientific background, but has to be complemented by other social and cultural aspects that allow to approach the true reality the patient from a full personal maturity. Only from a comprehensive training (professional and personal), the doctor may exercise his profession with dignity. From this point of view, the Theatre directed by Prof. López Alonso, year after year, takes place in our School is an example of a teacher's interest to offer that "something more" in the education of our students and concerns of medical students is not limited to his professional vocation. The Theatre is part of the Faculty of Medicine.
Interviewer: How was your relationship with the theater group and its members?
Dr. Saz: Unfortunately, the work of a Dean is sometimes so demanding that does not allow personal relationships to wish each and every member of the Faculty. However, during these years in which, very rewarding, I have been subject to the obligations of the position of Dean, I tried to maintain a special relationship with members of the theater group, happily, some of them have been to be part of that, unfortunately, a small group of students with establishing a friendship later. In any case, from that distance, which requires the daily work of the Dean, I tried to see to solve the difficulties that arose during the long months of site preparation, and to facilitate the work of the group.

Interviewer: What would you say to the new / new Dean / Dean of the Theater?
Dr. Saz: I would say do not hesitate to support this activity, only in our university, which as mentioned above is already part of one's own medical school. I would also try to encourage and facilitate student participation in the activities of the Group Theatre, and of course not miss any of the representations.
Interviewer: Finally, what will come to see the shirt on 4 May?
Dr. Saz: course. Not only do I have intention to attend, but I will do everything so that other colleagues, both as team rector of the University, will join us in this very special year that the group will represent the twentieth annual Theatre in the Faculty of Medicine.
